This is an Alternate Universe version of Korra from The Legend Of Korra. Season One spoilers will come up in threads, tags and this very profile. Trigger warning for violence and death.
------------------------------------
In Republic City there was a purple eyed man, cold in disposition and calm of heart. Amidst the Avatar's struggles against Amon, he offered her services as a waterbending teacher of higher techniques, and when she found he was actually at least as good as she was, the hotheaded Avatar Korra accepted, eager to gain even a small advantage in this fight. All the while her new master was laying down the groundwork for bloodbending, however, she was constantly failing to airbend, frustrated by everything going on in her personal life, and finding it all too much to take, and she quit his lessons rather abruptly to go barge in on and fight Councilman Tarrlok. But the seeds of bloodbending had been planted, as at one point, Tarrlok's body jerked to the left, and his water whip went wild. Before anyone could process what this meant, however, Korra was overpowered, and things proceeded as per canon from there until her final confrontation with Amon. When she saw Mako have his bending taken from him and drop to the floor, something inside clicked, dark and powerful and uncontrollable.
She painted the wall red with Amon's blood, ending the man behind the movement, but not the Equalists themselves. Now reduced down to a one-element Avatar, Korra finds herself alienated increasingly from her friends and everyone around her as she employs bloodbending to fight gangs and keep some sense of order in the city as total chaos and riots in the streets continue to break out. Korra is angry at the world, at the spirits, and at everyone who looks at her aghast at what she is when what she wants is to break down. But she can't. The world needs its' savior now more than ever.
The savior is here.
